At one point in time we’ve all returned home from a few days away only to find our plants are looking a bit under the weather. Fortunately, one of our top cool gardening gadgets will guarantee you up to a month of automated watering, meaning you won’t have to spend any time worrying about a plant sitter. The Parrot Pot is self-watering and sends real-time updates on light, temperature, soil moisture and fertiliser levels straight to your smart device. The Parrot Pot is also suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, which is great if you don’t have access to outdoor space.

Blossom Smart Watering Management System

Blossom is a sprinkler management app that automatically builds a smart watering schedule based on your location, weather patterns and vegetation. You also have the option to adjust the watering amount per zone with a simple swipe.

The app lets you organise every zone in your garden by assigning a name, photo and specific plant type for up to seven zones. You can then control each zone independently turning sprinklers on and off with a simple button on the control panel on your app. We think this app would come in very useful if you need to cater for different soil types or plants that have different watering needs. With this app you won’t have to worry about over or under-watering your plants again.

Some of these new gardening tools and gadgets are bound to help you take your gardening to the next level. Leave a comment with your favourite tools and nifty gadgets that help you manage your green spaces better, we’d love some extra recommendations.
